    A compact, single-module gym

This configuration uses one P600 steel-framed module arranged over a single storey. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. It provides approximately 11.4m² of usable internal area before partitions, using a conservative per-module allowance. The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling.

Designed for the Sport & Leisure sector, this modular gym is intended for home gym owners and small personal-training studios. The single-module format keeps the building contained within a narrow footprint, while extensive glazing brings natural light into the training area. The internal plan remains subject to confirmation around the requested bathroom facilities.

    Windows, door and terrace

The north-facing 5.9m wall has one large window positioned between two small windows. On the opposite south-facing wall, a single glazed door sits between two large windows. Each 2.2m end wall has a full-size window, creating glazing on all four elevations. A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building, providing an outdoor area immediately beside the gym.

    • North wall: small window, large window and small window
    • East wall: full-size window
    • South wall: large window, single glazed door and large window
    • West wall: full-size window

    Selected external treatment

All four exposed walls are finished between the structural frame with ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding in Teak. The boards are installed vertically across the full north, east, south and west walls. The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia; no additional fascia is specified for this configuration. Final visible details and finishes are confirmed by quotation.

    Requested WC and shower fit-out

A WC and shower have been requested, but their positions and the resulting room arrangement must be confirmed in the final layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. The shower room uses wet-room PVC flooring. Plaster applies outside bathroom walls when selected, while other finishes depend on the agreed room plan.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. No separate general gym flooring specification is stored for this design, so flooring and any alternative finishes outside the shower room are selected when the final layout is prepared. The room arrangement can be reviewed through the building configurator, with quoted details taking precedence over illustrated fixtures or finishes.

    Price and site considerations

The indicative configured estimate is £16,260 excluding VAT, or £19,512 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and are not included within the configured estimate.

Final siting is subject to a site survey and confirmation of access, levels and ground conditions. The survey and quotation will establish the requirements for transport, offloading, foundations or groundworks, and any other work needed for the chosen location.
