A practical clubhouse configuration

This P600 configuration combines six steel-framed modules to create a single-storey, L-shaped building with an overall footprint of 17.7m x 8.1m. It provides approximately 68 m² of internal floor area, giving sports clubs and community organisations a defined, permanent-feeling space without committing to a conventional building project.

Module-by-module layout

Each 5.9m x 2.2m P600 module forms part of the linked L-shaped plan. The specified openings are arranged across the exposed walls as follows:

Module 1: the exposed north-facing 5.9m wall has a large window, glazed double door and second large window. The exposed west 2.2m end has one large window.
Module 2: the exposed north-facing 5.9m wall has a large central window with a small window on either side.
Module 3: the north and south 5.9m walls each have a large central window between two small windows. The exposed east 2.2m end has one large window.
Module 4: the exposed south 2.2m end has one large window. Its west-facing 5.9m wall has a large central window with a small window on either side.
Module 5: the exposed south 2.2m end has one large window.
Module 6: the exposed east-facing 5.9m wall has a large central window between two small windows. The south 2.2m end has one large window.

This distribution of glazed openings brings daylight into several sides of the L-shaped plan. The glazed double door in Module 1 provides the specified external entrance.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in horizontal light grey cladding and topped by a dual-pitch apex roof. The result is a clear clubhouse form suited to a sports ground, recreation site or community setting. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the modules, with installation available at sites across the UK.

The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower. These facilities make the configuration suitable for clubs that need basic welfare provision within the building rather than in a separate unit. The P600 system can also be reviewed using the P600 configurator.

Price and quotation basis

The indicative price is £72,000 excluding VAT, or £86,400 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price applies to the six-module, single-storey configuration described here, including its light grey horizontal cladding, apex roof, specified doors and windows, WC and shower.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative price. These elements are quoted separately because transport, access, foundations, service requirements and installation conditions vary by site.

Lead time and siting requirements

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to final specification, production scheduling and site readiness. Programme dates are confirmed as part of the order process.

The site will need suitable prepared groundworks for the 17.7m x 8.1m footprint, together with adequate delivery and installation access. Any required utility connections, drainage arrangements and other site-specific works must be established before installation and allowed for separately.
