5-Module Toilet and Shower Block

A practical five-module washroom layout

This configuration uses five linked P600 steel-framed modules arranged within a 17.7m x 4.4m grid. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating approximately 61 m² of internal floor area across one storey. Three modules form the north side of the layout, with two modules positioned along the south side, leaving the south-eastern grid position open.

Designed as a fitted toilet and shower block, it provides the core washroom facilities required by large construction sites. The same format is also suitable for holiday parks and campsites where operators need a robust, clearly defined amenity building with WC and shower provision.

Module-by-module arrangement

Module 1 occupies the north-west position. Its north-facing 5.9m wall contains the building’s single glazed entrance door, positioned between two small windows. A high-level, top-only window is fitted to the exposed western 2.2m end wall. This combination gives the principal elevation a clear entrance while retaining privacy elsewhere.

Module 2 continues the north elevation in the central position. Its exposed north-facing wall has two high-level, top-only windows. There are no additional external doors or windows specified for this module.

Module 3 forms the north-east section of the building. Two high-level windows are positioned on its north-facing long wall, with one high-level window on the exposed eastern end. Because its southern wall is also exposed, that elevation includes a further two high-level, top-only windows.

Module 4 sits at the south-west of the grid. Its south-facing long wall has two high-level windows, while the western end wall has one further high-level window. Module 5 continues eastwards from Module 4. It has two high-level windows on the south elevation and one on its exposed eastern end. Across the building, this extensive use of high-level glazing supports daylight while maintaining privacy appropriate to WC and shower areas.

Exterior finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Dark grey cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile straightforward and contemporary, making the building suitable for both operational construction environments and customer-facing leisure sites.

The standard fitted specification includes WC and shower facilities. The exact service layout and any site-specific requirements should be confirmed as part of the project specification. Buyers can also use the P600 configurator to review the modular arrangement and required openings.

Price and delivery programme

The indicative price for this five-module building is £53,750 excluding VAT, or £64,500 including VAT, based on the standard fitted specification described. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately according to site location, access and project requirements.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme depends on specification approval, site readiness and delivery arrangements, so adequate time should be allowed for surveys, ground preparation and utility planning.

Preparing the site

The building requires suitable level, prepared foundations or groundworks, together with safe access for delivery and installation. The site must also be ready for the necessary water, drainage and electrical connections serving the WC and shower fit-out. Delivery access, lifting requirements, service routes and any location-specific works are assessed and priced separately before installation.
