5-Module Holiday Lodge with Kitchenette and Shower

A practical five-module guest accommodation layout

Designed for the Holiday Parks & Accommodation sector, this configuration uses five steel-framed P600 modules, each measuring 5.9m by 2.2m. The modules are linked in a grid arrangement within an overall 17.7m by 4.4m footprint, providing approximately 57 m² of internal floor area across one storey. It is suited to operators who need a spacious, permanent-feeling holiday lodge without moving to a conventional on-site build.

The five modules occupy five positions within a three-by-two grid. Four modules form two full bays, while the fifth extends the northern side into a third bay. This arrangement creates a long principal elevation and uses windows on every exposed end and side specified in the design.

Module-by-module window and entrance arrangement

• Module 1: The north-facing 5.9m wall has a large window, a glazed double entrance door and a second large window. Its exposed western end also has a large window.
• Module 2: The north-facing wall contains two large windows, bringing daylight into the centre of the lodge from the principal elevation.
• Module 3: This module has two large windows on the north wall, one large window on the eastern end and two large windows on the exposed south wall.
• Module 4: The south-facing wall has two large windows, with a further large window fitted to the exposed western end.
• Module 5: The exposed eastern end contains one large window, while the south-facing wall has two additional large windows.

Across the complete building, the configuration provides 16 large windows and one glazed double entrance door. The exterior is finished in vertical Anthracite cladding, giving the lodge a restrained contemporary appearance suitable for landscaped holiday parks and rural accommodation sites. A dual-pitch apex roof completes the external specification.

Internal fit-out

The fitted specification includes a kitchenette, WC and shower, supporting self-contained holiday accommodation use. The approximately 57 m² internal area gives operators scope to organise guest living, sleeping and service areas around their intended occupancy model. The extensive glazing provides natural light from the north and south elevations as well as both exposed ends.

Price and delivery programme

The indicative price is £72,300 excluding VAT, or £86,760 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in that figure and are quoted separately once the location, access and installation requirements have been assessed.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme depends on specification confirmation, production scheduling and site readiness. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 buildings, with installation available at sites across the UK.

Preparing the site

The lodge requires a suitable prepared base or foundation appropriate to the site conditions and completed before installation. There must also be sufficient access for module delivery and installation equipment, along with planned routes and connection points for the required services. Ground conditions, levels, drainage, utilities and any applicable planning or regulatory requirements should be established for the individual site. These items form part of the site-specific assessment and are priced separately where Adacon is asked to undertake them.
