    This four-module P600 building is configured as a single-storey site welfare unit for the construction sector. With an approximate internal floor area of 46 m², it gives site teams a substantial, self-contained space for canteen, drying and washing facilities.     How the four modules are arranged

    Four 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed P600 modules sit side by side to create the wide plan. They link together as one building, while each module retains its defined position within the overall configuration.

    Module 1 forms the north side and provides the main entrance. Its exposed 5.9m north wall has a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window. The exposed east and west end walls each have one top-only, high-level window.

    Module 2 sits immediately inside Module 1. Its exposed 2.2m east and west ends each contain one top-only, high-level window; no additional external door is specified for this module.

    Module 3 continues the central part of the plan. Like Module 2, it has one top-only, high-level window in each exposed end wall to the east and west.

    Module 4 forms the south side. Its exposed east and west ends each have one top-only, high-level window, while the 5.9m south wall has two further top-only, high-level windows. The glazed entrance and small windows are concentrated on the north elevation, with high-level windows distributed around the remaining exposed walls.

    Exterior and internal fit-out

    The exterior is finished in dark grey horizontal cladding, with a flat roof and slim fascia for a clean, low-profile appearance. Inside, the standard fitted specification includes a kitchenette, WC and shower. This supports day-to-day welfare use as a canteen and washing area, with space that can be planned around the drying-room needs typical of a construction site. The final operational arrangement should be checked against workforce numbers and site requirements.

    Programme, delivery and siting

    A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification, order confirmation and current production scheduling. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the building, with delivery and installation available across the UK.

    The site must be ready before installation, with suitable level foundations or supports, clear delivery and lifting access, and provision for the required utility and drainage connections. Ground conditions, access constraints, service routes and any project-specific works should be assessed early, as these can affect both cost and programme. Delivery, groundworks, connections and other site-specific requirements will be confirmed through separate quotations where applicable.
