4-Module Holiday Lodge with Terrace, WC and Shower

A practical four-module lodge layout

This configuration uses four steel-framed P600 modules linked end to end in a single-storey run. The completed building has a footprint of 23.6m x 2.2m and provides approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. Its long, narrow format is suited to pitches where frontage, circulation or plot depth needs to be managed carefully, while the extensive glazing brings natural light into the accommodation.

Window and entrance arrangement

Module 1 forms one end of the run and contains the main guest entrance. Its north-facing 5.9m wall has a small window, a large window and a second small window. The south-facing wall has a large window, glazed double doors and another large window. A full-size window is fitted to the exposed west-facing 2.2m end wall.

Module 2 continues the run with the same balanced window pattern on both exposed long walls. The north and south sides each have a small window, a large window and a second small window.

Module 3 repeats this arrangement, again providing a small, large and small window sequence on both the north and south walls. This consistency gives the central section of the lodge regular daylight from both sides.

Module 4 completes the opposite end of the building. Its north and south walls each have the same small, large and small window arrangement, while the exposed east-facing end has a full-size window. Across all four modules, the openings create a bright interior without relying on glazing at only one end of the lodge.

External finish and covered terrace

The exterior is finished in vertical Dark grey cladding and topped by a dual-pitch apex roof. A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building, providing a sheltered outdoor area directly beside the accommodation. The glazed double doors connect the lodge with the surrounding pitch and provide a broad, practical entrance for guests.

Fitted guest accommodation

The internal fit-out includes a kitchenette, WC and shower, giving operators the essential facilities required for self-contained short stays. The approximately 49 m² floor area can support sleeping, living and dining functions within one connected building, subject to the final internal plan and furniture selected by the operator.

Price and standard specification

The indicative price is £50,300 ex VAT, or £60,360 inc VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price is based on the four-module, single-storey building with the stated external finish, apex roof, doors, windows and internal kitchenette, WC and shower fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and other site-specific works are quoted separately.

Lead time and site preparation

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification confirmation, order scheduling and site readiness. The lodge requires a suitable prepared and level base, clear delivery access and adequate space for unloading and installation. Utility routes and connections for water, drainage and electricity must be planned for the chosen pitch. Ground conditions, access restrictions, local planning requirements and any site-specific works should be established before delivery, as these factors can affect the final programme and installed cost.
