Four-module grid configuration

Built from four steel-framed P600 modules, this modular changing room forms a single-storey grid measuring 11.8m long by 4.4m wide. The completed building provides approximately 49 m² of internal floor area, giving sports clubs a compact facility with dedicated WC and shower provision. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the modules, with installation available at sites across the UK.

Each P600 module measures 5.9m by 2.2m. Linking four modules in a two-by-two grid creates a broad internal layout rather than a long, narrow run of rooms.

Module 1 has two small windows and a glazed double door on its exposed north wall. Its exposed west end has one top-only, high-level window.
Module 2 has three small windows on the exposed north wall and one top-only window in the exposed east end.
Module 3 has three small windows on the exposed south wall and one top-only window in the exposed west end.
Module 4 has three small windows on the exposed south wall and one top-only window in the exposed east end.

Across the complete building, the specification provides one glazed double-door entrance, eleven small windows and four high-level top-only windows. The small windows are distributed along the north and south elevations, while the high-level windows bring light into the shorter east and west ends.

Changing room fit-out

The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower, supporting its intended use by football, rugby and cricket clubs. The approximately 49 m² internal area allows the changing accommodation and washing facilities to be contained within one connected building. Final room planning and service positions are confirmed as part of the agreed project specification.

Anthracite exterior and apex roof

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding, giving the building a consistent, low-maintenance appearance suited to sports grounds and leisure sites. A dual-pitch apex roof covers the completed four-module grid. The glazed double doors provide the main external access, with the specified window arrangement serving each exposed elevation.

Indicative price and programme

The indicative price is £48,500 excluding VAT, or £58,200 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This pricing is based on the four P600 modules, single-storey grid arrangement, smooth Anthracite exterior, dual-pitch roof, listed doors and windows, and internal WC and shower. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately. Alternative requirements can be reviewed through the P600 configurator.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme depends on final specification approval, current production scheduling, site readiness and the agreed delivery and installation arrangements.

Preparing the site

The site must be ready before delivery, with suitable groundworks completed to the requirements confirmed for the project. The 11.8m by 4.4m building footprint should be allowed for alongside the working space needed for delivery and installation. Access routes, unloading arrangements and any site restrictions must be assessed in advance. Connections for the WC and shower also need to be planned, including the required water, drainage and other relevant services. Planning, permissions and site-specific compliance requirements should be established for the chosen location before installation is scheduled.
