Compact education space over two floors
This modular classroom configuration uses three steel-framed P600 modules arranged across two storeys. Two modules form the ground floor, creating a 5.9m x 4.4m overall footprint, with the third module providing the first-floor accommodation. The completed layout offers approx. 34.20 m² usable internal area before partitions and is intended for primary and secondary schools expanding capacity.
Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high externally. Its approximate usable interior is 5.7m x 2.0m, with a 2.16m internal ceiling height. An internal staircase connects the ground and first floors without an external stair structure. The final room arrangement, circulation space and positioning of the requested facilities remain subject to confirmation in the final layout.
Windows and entrance arrangement
On the ground floor, Module 1 has two large windows and a glazed double door on its exposed north wall. Its east and west end walls each have one full-size window. Module 2 has two large windows on its exposed south wall, together with one full-size window in each of its east and west end walls.
First-floor Module 3 uses smaller windows around all four exposed elevations. Its north and south walls each have three small windows, while its east and west end walls each have two small windows. This opening schedule is specific to the stored configuration and should be read alongside the final quoted drawings.
Anthracite fine-ribbed exterior
The selected exposed walls are finished with ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding in Anthracite, applied vertically between the frame. This full-wall cladding is selected for the north, east and west walls of Module 1; the east, south and west walls of Module 2; and all four exposed walls of Module 3. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not itemised publicly.
The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified in this configuration.
Requested internal fit-out
A kitchenette and WC have been requested, with their exact positions and final details to be confirmed as part of the completed layout and quotation. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. Outside these areas, the included wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling.
Plasterboard, alternative hygienic-panel styles and room-by-room flooring selections are available as choices or upgrades rather than included features of this stored design. Final fixtures, finishes and fit-out details are confirmed by quotation. The configuration can also be reviewed through the building configurator.
Quotation and site requirements
The indicative configured estimate is £41,500 ex VAT, or £49,800 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is calculated separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Placement is subject to a site survey and assessment of access, levels, foundations, services and lifting requirements. These factors may affect the final scope and quoted cost, so the building layout and requested fit-out must be checked against the school site before the order is finalised.
