3-Module Shower and WC Block

A practical three-module washroom building

This configuration uses three steel-framed P600 modules linked in a straight run to create a single-storey building measuring 17.7m long by 2.2m wide. Each module measures 5.9m by 2.2m, providing approx. 34.20 m² usable internal area before partitions across the complete building.

Designed as a modular shower block for the Construction sector, it provides enclosed WC and shower facilities within a narrow, linear footprint. The format is suitable for construction sites, campsites and sports clubs where usable internal space, straightforward access and a clearly defined building footprint are important.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the main entrance section. Its south-facing 5.9m wall has a glazed double door positioned between two small windows. The opposite north wall has a top-only high-level window, while the exposed west end also has a top-only high-level window.

Module 2 sits in the centre of the run and links Modules 1 and 3. As its short end walls connect to the adjoining modules, the exposed openings are on the long elevations: one top-only high-level window on the north wall and another on the south wall.

Module 3 completes the run. It has a top-only high-level window on the north wall, another on the south wall and a further high-level window in the exposed east end. Together, these specified openings provide daylight while limiting direct views into the washroom accommodation.

The three modules create one continuous building rather than separate cabins. The WC and shower are included within the internal fit-out. Final sanitary positions, internal divisions and service connections should be checked against the agreed fitted specification before the building is ordered.

Exterior and fitted finish

The exterior is finished in horizontal Light grey cladding, giving the building a clean, consistent appearance across the full 17.7m elevation. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and suited to the long, single-storey form.

The P300/P400/P600 modular range is supplied to a full fit-out standard for this configuration, including the stated WC and shower facilities. Price and typical lead time

The indicative price is £38,700 excluding VAT, or £46,440 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price covers the configured three-module building and its stated fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately once the site and access requirements are known.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme will depend on the final specification, order timing, site readiness and installation arrangements. Site preparation should be coordinated so that the base, access and required services are ready for the agreed delivery date.

Siting and service requirements

The building requires a suitable prepared and level base for its 17.7m by 2.2m footprint. The site must also provide sufficient access for delivery vehicles and installation operations. Space around the final position should be considered when planning unloading, assembly and future maintenance access.

Connections for water, foul drainage and power should be established according to the final WC and shower specification. Ground conditions, service routes, drainage capacity and any site-specific compliance requirements must be assessed separately, with associated groundworks and connection works priced for the individual location.
