A practical footprint for guest accommodation

This configuration combines three P600 modules in a wide, single-storey layout. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating an overall footprint of 5.9m x 6.6m and approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. The connected modules provide a broad plan that can be arranged around the operational needs of a holiday park, glamping site or short-let business.

Designed specifically for the Holiday Parks & Accommodation sector, it provides the essential structure, openings and sanitary fit-out for a modern holiday lodge. The wide arrangement also avoids the need for an upper floor, keeping all guest accommodation on one level.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the north side of the lodge. Its exposed 5.9m north wall has a central glazed double door positioned between two large windows. This creates the main entrance and a strongly glazed principal elevation. The exposed east and west 2.2m ends each have one large window.

Module 2 sits in the centre of the wide layout. As its long sides connect to the adjoining modules, the exposed openings are at each 2.2m end. One large window is fitted to the east end and another to the west end, bringing daylight into the middle section of the building.

Module 3 forms the south side. Its exposed east and west ends each have one large window. The 5.9m south wall has three further openings arranged as a small window, a large window and a second small window. Across the complete configuration, the placement of windows provides glazing on every exposed elevation.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in timber-effect cladding, giving the lodge a more appropriate appearance for leisure and rural accommodation settings than a standard site cabin. A dual-pitch apex roof completes the specified external profile.

The standard fitted specification includes a WC and shower, providing the sanitary facilities required for self-contained holiday accommodation. Final room planning, furnishings and any additional equipment should be considered against the intended occupancy and operating model. Indicative price and programme

The indicative price for this three-module holiday lodge is £36,750 ex VAT, or £44,100 inc VAT, based on the standard fitted specification. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in that figure and are quoted separately once the site, access and installation requirements have been reviewed.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The actual programme depends on specification confirmation, production scheduling, site readiness and delivery arrangements, so timings should be agreed for each project rather than treated as a fixed installation date.

Preparing the site

The site must be ready to receive three 5.9m x 2.2m modules and accommodate the completed 5.9m x 6.6m footprint. Suitable delivery and installation access is required, together with correctly prepared groundworks or foundations for the building. Water and drainage connections must also be planned for the WC and shower. Ground conditions, service routes, access restrictions and other site-specific requirements are assessed and priced separately.
