3-Module Changing Rooms with WC and Shower

A practical wide-format layout

This configuration uses three P600 modules positioned side by side to create a wide, single-storey building. Each steel-framed module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, giving the completed building a 5.9m x 6.6m footprint and approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. It is designed for use as modular changing rooms within the Sport & Leisure sector, particularly at football, rugby and cricket clubs.

Module-by-module arrangement

Module 1 forms the north side of the building and contains the main entrance. Its exposed 5.9m north wall has a pair of glazed entrance doors positioned between two small windows. A high-level, top-only window is fitted to each 2.2m end wall, providing additional daylight while maintaining privacy.

Module 2 occupies the centre of the layout. Because it is positioned between the two outer modules, its long walls connect to the adjoining sections. Its exposed east and west end walls each contain one high-level, top-only window. These openings help bring daylight into the central part of the building without using low-level glazing.

Module 3 forms the south side. Three small windows are arranged along its exposed 5.9m south wall. As with the other modules, both 2.2m end walls have a high-level, top-only window. Across the complete configuration, the end elevations therefore contain six high-level windows, with one at each end of every module.

Changing-room fit-out

The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower, giving clubs essential washing and sanitary facilities within the building. The three modules are linked to operate as one facility rather than separate standalone units. Final internal positioning and service connections are confirmed as part of the agreed specification, allowing the sanitary areas to be coordinated with the changing-space layout.

Exterior finish

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding for a clean, understated appearance suited to sports grounds and club facilities. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline neat and low profile. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed at sites across the UK.

Price and programme

The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price covers the three-module building configuration with its specified doors, windows, WC, shower, cladding and roof finish. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately because access, distance, base requirements and service arrangements vary by location.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks from specification approval and order confirmation. The programme may vary according to current production capacity, site readiness and any project-specific requirements. Siting requirements

The building requires a suitable, level and prepared base appropriate to the site conditions. Clubs must also allow adequate access for delivery vehicles and lifting operations. Electricity, water and drainage requirements should be established before installation, particularly for the WC and shower. Groundworks, utility connections, access restrictions and other site-specific works are assessed and priced separately.
