Wide two-module configuration
This site welfare unit combines two P600 steel-framed modules in a single-storey, side-by-side layout. The overall external footprint is 5.9m x 4.4m, with approximately 22.8m2 of usable internal area before partitions. This figure uses a conservative per-module allowance; a connected open arrangement may provide more usable space once the final layout is confirmed.
Each module has an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The external height is approximately 2.40m, with a 2.16m internal ceiling. The wide format provides scope to organise welfare functions for a construction site, including canteen, drying and sanitary areas, without adding another storey. The exact room divisions remain subject to the agreed final plan.
Doors and windows
The north-facing 5.9m wall of Module 1 has a central glazed double door with one small window on either side. Its east and west 2.2m end walls each contain two small windows.
Module 2 has two small windows on each of its east and west 2.2m end walls. Its exposed south-facing 5.9m wall has two high-level, top-only windows. These are the stored openings for this configuration; their final specification and detailing are confirmed through quotation.
Grey grooved-plank exterior
The exposed walls are finished between the frame with Grey ARLINE AR16016 grooved-plank cladding. Vertical boards are selected for the north, east and west walls of Module 1 and the east, south and west walls of Module 2. The cladding forms part of the quoted configuration, with final details confirmed in the project quotation.
Above, the building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified. Together, the restrained Grey finish, vertical board direction and visible structural frame give the configuration a practical external treatment for a construction environment.
Requested WC and shower fit-out
A WC and shower are requested, subject to confirmation in the final room layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard. Hygienic wall panels are available as an optional selection, while the shower room uses wet-room PVC flooring.
Where selected, plaster applies outside the bathroom walls. Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative finishes, room divisions and the precise relationship between welfare, drying and sanitary spaces are selected and confirmed against the final plan rather than assumed from illustrated examples.
Construction-site use and siting
This configuration is intended as a site welfare unit for the construction sector. It is particularly relevant to sites needing canteen, drying-room and WC facilities, with the requested shower adding another practical welfare function. Final room allocation, fixtures and finishes are established during quotation and configuration.
The indicative configured estimate is £27,400 ex VAT, or £32,880 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate. Siting is subject to survey, including access, ground conditions and the requirements of the proposed location. Final selections can be recorded through the building configurator.
