Two P600 modules in a single-storey run
This configuration uses two P600 steel-framed modules connected end to end in a straight, single-storey run. The external footprint is 11.8m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable internal area of 22.8m2 before partitions. This is based on a conservative allowance of approximately 5.7m x 2.0m per module; a connected open layout may provide more usable space.
Each module is 5.9m x 2.2m externally and 2.40m high, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The arrangement is intended as a site welfare unit for the construction sector, particularly where canteen, drying-room and WC facilities need to be brought together within a compact linear building.
Windows and external doors
The exposed walls have a defined set of openings. Module 1 has three small windows on its north side. Its south side has a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window, while the exposed west end has two small windows.
Module 2 also has three small windows on its north side and three small windows on its south side. Its exposed east end has two small windows. The adjoining ends connect the two modules as one run rather than forming exposed external walls.
Grey grooved-plank exterior
All exposed outside walls are selected with Grey ARLINE AR16016 grooved-plank cladding applied between the frame. The boards run vertically across the north, south and west walls of Module 1 and the north, south and east walls of Module 2. Cladding costs are confirmed as part of the project quotation and are not itemised publicly.
The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is selected for this configuration.
Requested welfare fit-out
A kitchenette, WC and shower are requested, with their precise positions and the resulting room divisions to be confirmed in the final layout. This allows the internal arrangement to be coordinated around the required welfare functions without presenting an unconfirmed partition plan as fixed.
Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an optional selection. The shower room uses wet-room PVC flooring. Where selected, plaster applies outside the bathroom walls. Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish, while any other finishes are selected to suit the confirmed room layout.
Quotation and site requirements
The indicative configured estimate is £27,800 excluding VAT, or £33,360 including VAT, subject to quotation and confirmation of the final specification. The stored design can be reviewed through the building configurator, but final fixtures, finishes and room details are established by quotation.
Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate. Siting remains subject to survey, including access, ground conditions and the practical requirements for placing the two-module run.
