2-Module Gatehouse with WC

A practical security and site control building

This two-module P600 building is configured as a single-storey gatehouse for staffed entrances, access points and controlled sites. The modules are connected in a straight run to create an overall footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m and approximately 24 m² of internal floor area. Its long, narrow form makes it practical for positioning alongside entrance lanes, perimeter gates or reception points where available site width may be limited.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the western half of the run. Its exposed north elevation has two large windows. The south elevation contains a small window, a single glazed entrance door and a second small window. A full-size window is fitted to the exposed west end. This arrangement gives the first module views across three sides of the building while placing the main pedestrian entrance on the south elevation.

Module 2 continues the building to the east. Its north elevation has two large windows, matching the window arrangement on the north side of Module 1. The exposed east end contains a full-size window, while the south elevation has two large windows. Together, the two modules provide extensive glazing along both long elevations, with full-size windows at the exposed ends of the completed run.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in vertical Dark grey cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and appropriate for commercial entrances, school sites and residential developments. The modules are finished to a full fit-out standard, and this configuration includes a WC within the building.

Price and programme

The indicative price for this two-module gatehouse is £21,500 ex VAT, or £25,800 including VAT. This price is for the standard fitted specification described here, including the two connected P600 modules and WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme will depend on the final specification, site requirements and current production schedule.

Siting requirements

The site needs a suitable prepared and level base, adequate access for delivery, and a clear area for safe installation. Connections required for the WC must be planned before installation. Ground conditions, access restrictions, service routes and any site-specific works should be established in advance, as these can affect the delivery method, groundworks and final quotation.
