A compact two-storey layout
This configuration uses three P600 modules to create a practical two-storey site office for the construction sector. Two modules form the ground floor, producing an overall footprint of 5.9m x 4.4m, while the third module provides the first-floor accommodation. Across both levels, the building offers approximately 37 m² of internal floor area.
The arrangement gives main contractors and site managers useful working space without taking up more ground than the two-module base. An internal staircase connects the floors and is contained within the building, so there is no external stair structure. The fitted kitchenette and WC support day-to-day use by site teams, visiting subcontractors and project staff.
Ground-floor modules
Module 1 has the main entrance on its exposed north-facing 5.9m elevation. A single glazed door sits between two large windows, creating a clear entrance and bringing natural light into the ground floor. Each exposed 2.2m end elevation, east and west, has two small windows.
Module 2 links directly to Module 1 to complete the 5.9m x 4.4m ground-floor footprint. Its exposed south-facing 5.9m elevation has a large central window with a small window on either side. The east and west 2.2m end elevations each contain two small windows, giving this part of the building glazing on three exposed sides.
Together, the two ground-floor modules provide the principal access level and accommodate the internal circulation required for the staircase. The exact use of the available office space can support routine site administration, meetings and project coordination. For further information on this type of accommodation, see Adacon’s site offices page.
First-floor module
Module 3 forms the first floor and is reached by the internal staircase. Both 5.9m side elevations have three small windows: three facing north and three facing south. The east and west 2.2m end elevations each have two small windows. This balanced window arrangement provides natural light from every exposed side of the upper module.
The first-floor space can provide separation from busier ground-level activity, making it suitable for focused office work or management use. Its position above the ground-floor modules increases usable accommodation while retaining the same 5.9m x 4.4m site footprint.
Exterior and fitted specification
The building is finished in Dark grey horizontal cladding, with a flat roof and slim fascia. The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This covers the three-module, two-storey building with the listed doors and windows, internal staircase, kitchenette and WC. Alternative P600 arrangements can be explored through the P600 configurator.
Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 modular buildings, with installation available across the UK. A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to final specification, order confirmation and current production capacity. Delivery, groundworks and other site-specific works are not included in the indicative building price and are quoted separately.
Preparing the site
The site requires a suitable, level and prepared support arrangement, together with clear access for delivery and installation. Available space must account for the 5.9m x 4.4m building footprint as well as the working area needed during installation. Ground conditions, access constraints and service connections should be assessed before delivery so that any required groundworks or site-specific provisions can be identified and priced separately.
