Wide two-module classroom layout
This P600 configuration links two steel-framed modules side by side to create a single-storey building with an external footprint of 5.9m x 4.4m. It provides approximately 22.8m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance. A connected open layout may provide more usable space, depending on the final partition plan.
Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and has an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The module height is 2.40m externally, with a 2.16m internal ceiling. Windows and entrance arrangement
The exposed north wall of Module 1 has a large window, a double-door glazed entrance and a second large window. Its east and west end walls each have one large window. Module 2 has two large windows along its exposed south wall, plus one large window on each of its east and west end walls.
This arrangement introduces windows on every exposed elevation, while the entrance is positioned on the north-facing 5.9m side of Module 1. Final fixture details and the relationship between openings, partitions and fitted facilities are confirmed through the quotation and final layout process.
Teak fine-ribbed exterior and apex roof
All selected exposed walls are finished between the frame with vertically arranged ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding in Teak. This applies to the north, east and west walls of Module 1 and the east, south and west walls of Module 2. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not itemised publicly.
The configuration is completed by a dual-pitch apex roof spanning the wide classroom arrangement. The final quoted specification confirms the external details and finishes supplied for the project.
Requested kitchenette and WC
A kitchenette and WC are requested for confirmation within the final room layout. Their positions, dimensions, fixtures and connections are not fixed by this stored configuration and must be coordinated with the required teaching space, circulation and window arrangement.
Insulated sandwich panels are the included wall finish elsewhere in the building. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. Plaster can be selected outside bathroom walls. If the final design incorporates a shower room, wet-room PVC flooring is used within that room; other finishes are selected to suit the confirmed room layout.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £31,600 excluding VAT, or £37,920 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the site postcode and access conditions. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Siting is subject to survey, including access, ground conditions and the requirements of the chosen location. The final design, fit-out and finish schedule are confirmed by quotation. Layout choices can be reviewed through the building configurator.
