Compact washroom provision in one module

This P600 configuration provides a modular shower block within a single 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed module. It has an approximate internal floor area of 12 m2 and is arranged as a wide, single-storey building, making it a practical choice where site space is limited or a larger multi-module facility is unnecessary.

Designed for the construction sector, the same format also suits campsites and sports clubs requiring dedicated WC and shower provision. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK. Further applications can be viewed under modular shower blocks.

    Module layout and access

The complete facility is housed in Module 1 at ground-floor level. The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower, keeping both functions together in one self-contained module. The 5.9m x 2.2m footprint allows the building to be positioned as a compact standalone amenity block on an appropriately prepared site.

The principal entrance is on the south-facing 5.9m elevation. This side has a glazed double door positioned between two small windows, creating a balanced access elevation and providing natural light around the entrance. The double-door arrangement gives a wider point of entry than a standard single door.

The other three exposed elevations use high-level glazing. The north-facing 5.9m side has one top-only high-level window, while the east and west 2.2m ends each have one top-only high-level window. This window arrangement brings daylight into the building while limiting low-level views into the washroom space.

    Exterior finish and internal fit-out

The module is finished externally in smooth dark grey cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and compact, providing a clean appearance suitable for temporary or longer-term placement at construction sites, sports grounds and campsite facilities.

Internally, the standard fitted specification includes the WC and shower stated for this configuration. As both facilities are incorporated into one module, there is no need to join separate units on site. The precise placement of the building and the route of service connections should be agreed during site planning.

    Indicative price and programme

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price covers the configured P600 building with its stated external finish, doors, windows, WC and shower. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately because access, location and preparation requirements vary between sites.

Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme depends on confirmation of the specification, production scheduling, site readiness and delivery arrangements. The same configuration can be reviewed through the P600 configurator when planning requirements or comparing possible layouts.

    Preparing the site

The module requires a suitable, level and properly prepared base before installation. Ground conditions, drainage, water supply, electrical requirements and waste connections must be assessed for the intended location. These works are not included in the indicative building price and should be coordinated before the scheduled delivery date.

There must also be suitable access for transport, unloading and installation of the 5.9m x 2.2m module. Restricted entrances, overhead obstructions, soft ground or limited working space may affect the delivery method and cost. Adacon confirms the relevant delivery and installation requirements against the individual site before the programme is finalised.
