Single-Module Shop with WC and Glazed Double Doors

A compact retail layout

This configuration uses one P600 module in a wide, single-storey layout. The module measures 5.9m long by 2.2m wide and provides approximately 12 m² of internal floor area. It is intended as a practical modular shop for the Retail & Hospitality sector, particularly where a permanent-looking sales space is needed within a relatively small footprint.

Module 1: sales space and WC

The building comprises one ground-floor module, so the full internal area is contained on a single level. The open retail space can be arranged around counters, shelving, displays or customer circulation according to the operator’s requirements. An internal WC is included within the fit-out, giving independent retailers, farm shops and pop-up operators a self-contained facility without adding a second module.

The 5.9m side forms the broad elevation of the wide layout. On the south wall, a pair of glazed double doors is positioned between two large windows. This creates a clear customer entrance and a strongly glazed frontage suitable for product displays and an open, welcoming shop environment.

Windows on every exposed elevation

The north 5.9m wall has two large windows, providing glazing along the rear long elevation. Each 2.2m end wall also has one large window: one on the east elevation and one on the west elevation. Together with the two south-facing windows and glazed double doors, this gives the single module natural light and outward visibility from all four sides.

External finish and roof

The exterior is finished with timber-effect cladding, giving the shop a warmer appearance than a plain industrial unit and making it well suited to farm retail, visitor destinations and independent trading sites. Above, the flat roof is completed with a slim fascia for a clean, restrained roofline. The module is supplied to a full fit-out standard, with the WC included as specified for this configuration.

Indicative price and scope

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price relates to the one-module building described here, including its listed doors, windows, timber-effect external finish and internal WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included in the indicative figure and are quoted separately once the location, access and installation requirements are known.

Typical lead time

A typical lead time for a P600 building is 8–12 weeks. The actual programme depends on the confirmed specification, current production schedule and arrangements for delivery and installation. Any required site preparation should be coordinated with the building programme so that the location is ready before the agreed installation date.

Siting requirements

The 5.9m x 2.2m footprint requires a suitable prepared and level base, together with clear access for delivery and installation. Ground conditions, service requirements and the route into the site should be assessed before the order is finalised. Utility connections, groundworks and other location-specific works are priced separately. The window and door positions should also be checked against boundaries, customer approaches and the intended internal shop layout.
