Practical storage in one P600 module

This configuration uses one steel-framed P600 module to create a compact, single-storey secure storage unit. Its footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, providing approximately 12 m² of internal floor area without partitions or wet facilities taking up usable space. It is intended for contractors, tradespeople and businesses that need a dedicated lock-up within the construction sector.

The building has a single open layout, making the internal space straightforward to organise around tools, equipment, materials or business stock. No wet fit-out is included. The interior is supplied to the standard fitted specification for this configuration, giving the buyer a usable open space rather than dividing the module into separate rooms.

Roller shutter and pedestrian access

Three full-size roller shutters provide access from different elevations. One is positioned on the east 2.2m end, another on the west 2.2m end, and the third on the south 5.9m side. This arrangement is useful where equipment or materials need to be moved in and out without relying on a single loading point.

The south elevation also includes a single glazed door for everyday pedestrian access, alongside a small window. This means users do not need to open a roller shutter whenever they enter the unit. The combination of pedestrian and shutter access makes the layout suitable for both routine use and the movement of larger items.

Window arrangement and external finish

Two high-level, top-only windows are fitted along the north 5.9m side. Their raised position keeps more of the lower internal wall area available for storage while still introducing natural light. Together with the small south-facing window and the glazed door, they prevent the open interior from relying solely on artificial light during daytime use.

Externally, the module is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile simple and compact, which is well suited to active sites, trade premises and service yards. The result is a clearly defined single-module building without unnecessary external additions or a terrace.

Indicative price and lead time

The indicative price is £10,750 ex VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described on this page. This covers the single P600 module with its Anthracite finish, flat roof, listed roller shutters, glazed door, windows and open internal fit-out. A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. Timing can depend on the confirmed specification, delivery arrangements and installation requirements for the chosen site. The programme should therefore allow for site preparation and access planning as well as the supply of the module itself.

Siting requirements

The unit requires a suitable level, prepared base and adequate access for delivery and installation. The position should account for all three roller shutters, the glazed pedestrian door and the outward working space needed around each elevation. Ground conditions, access constraints and any other location-specific requirements are assessed separately, with the associated groundworks and site works included in the project quotation rather than the indicative module price.
