Compact single-module retail layout
This configuration uses one steel-framed P600 module arranged over a single storey. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m and around 11 m² of internal floor area. The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling. It is a standalone single layout rather than a linked or stacked multi-module scheme.
Designed as a modular shop for the Retail & Hospitality sector, the building combines a compact sales area with extensive glazing. It is suited to independent retailers, farm shops and pop-up operators who need a clearly defined customer-facing space without the footprint of a larger multi-module building.
Windows, entrance and external finish
The stored design specifies two large windows along the north 5.9m wall. The south 5.9m wall has two large windows with a single glazed door positioned between them. Each 2.2m end wall, identified as east and west in the layout, contains one large window. These directions refer to the configured drawing and may not correspond to the building’s eventual orientation once positioned on site.
All four exposed outside walls receive ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding in Venge. The boards are arranged vertically and applied between the visible structural frame. This selected treatment covers the full north, east, south and west walls, subject to the specified window and door openings. Final fixture, junction and finish details are confirmed by quotation.
Roof and requested internal fit-out
The module has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is included in this configuration. The straightforward roofline complements the single-storey form while retaining the defined P600 frame around the selected Venge wall finish.
A WC has been requested for this configuration, but its final position and arrangement must be confirmed as part of the completed layout and quotation. Where the WC is incorporated, the toilet room requires hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. Sanitary fixtures, exact panel style and other illustrated details should not be treated as fixed until they are recorded in the final quotation.
Internal finishes, pricing and siting
Outside the WC area, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and alternative hygienic-panel styles are selectable upgrades or choices rather than included finishes for this stored design. No room-by-room flooring selection has been specified for the main retail area, so the final floor finish must also be confirmed through the quotation process.
The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation and final layout confirmation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate. Siting remains subject to survey, including confirmation of access, positioning and the requirements of the prepared site. The stored specification can be reviewed through the building configurator, with final details established in the project quotation.
