Compact retail space in one P600 module

This configuration uses one P600 module arranged as a single-storey modular shop for the Retail & Hospitality sector. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The conservative usable internal area is approximately 11.4 m² before any partitions are introduced.

The module is approximately 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling. This compact format is suited to independent retailers, farm shops and pop-up operators that need a clearly defined customer-facing space without the scale of a multi-module building. Further applications and planning ideas can be explored in our modular shops section.

Glazed layout for a customer-facing setting

The north-facing 5.9m wall contains two large windows. The south-facing 5.9m wall is arranged with a single glazed door between two large windows, creating the principal customer entrance and bringing additional natural light into the retail space. Each 2.2m end wall has one full-size window.

These openings are specific to this stored configuration. The layout provides glazing on every elevation while retaining a straightforward, single-module plan. Final positioning in relation to counters, displays, storage and the requested WC must be coordinated when the room arrangement is confirmed.

Cream insulated-panel exterior and flat roof

All four outside walls use included vertical insulated sandwich panels in Cream, matched to RAL 9001, with a smooth finish. This selected treatment applies to the north, east, south and west elevations, giving the module a consistent appearance on every side.

The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia has been selected. The module is presented as a standalone, single-storey configuration rather than a linked or stacked arrangement.

    Requested WC and internal finishes

A WC has been requested for confirmation in the final layout. Its partitioning and effect on the usable retail space will depend on the agreed arrangement. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, while hygienic panels are available as an optional selection. If the design is developed to include a shower room, wet-room PVC flooring is used in that area.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Other finishes can be selected to suit the final room layout. Where plaster is selected, it applies outside bathroom walls. Fixtures, finishes and the completed WC specification are confirmed through the final quotation rather than assumed from illustrations.

    Price and site considerations

The indicative configured estimate is £12,900 excluding VAT, or £15,480 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Positioning and site requirements remain subject to survey, including access, levels and the suitability of the proposed location. The stored arrangement can be reviewed through the building configurator, but the quotation and confirmed layout determine the final supplied details.
