Single-Module Gym with WC, Shower and Terrace

A compact, self-contained gym building

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a single-storey modular gym with a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint and approximately 11 m² of internal floor area. Its compact size makes it suitable for home gym owners who want a dedicated training space, as well as personal trainers establishing a small private studio.

Module layout and glazing

Module 1 forms the entire ground floor. The north-facing 5.9m wall contains two large windows. The east-facing 2.2m end has one full-size window, while the west-facing 2.2m end has a second full-size window.

The south-facing 5.9m wall contains a single glazed door positioned between two large windows. This provides the building’s entrance directly beside the terrace while bringing additional natural light into the gym. Together, the windows on all four exposed walls give the compact interior an open outlook without changing the module’s straightforward rectangular footprint.

Internal fit-out

The fitted interior includes a WC and shower. These facilities make the building practical for regular workouts, one-to-one coaching sessions and small personal-training use where clients may need to change or shower on site. The exact positioning of fittings and service connections is confirmed as part of the project specification.

The remaining internal floor area provides the principal exercise space. Equipment selection and positioning should be planned around the available floor area, access door, glazing and WC and shower provision. Any specialist gym equipment, storage systems or project-specific finishes would need to be identified separately.

Anthracite timber exterior and terrace

The module is finished externally with timber cladding in Anthracite. Above it, a flat roof with a slim fascia maintains a clean, low-profile appearance. A covered ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building, creating a defined area immediately outside the glazed entrance.

The terrace can provide a useful transition between the site and the gym, but its foundations, relationship to surrounding ground levels and any site-specific construction requirements must be assessed for the chosen location.

Indicative price and project scope

The indicative price is £12,550 excluding VAT, or £15,060 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately. The final quotation will confirm the precise supply scope, including configured elements and any changes required for the site.

Specialist gym equipment, local service infrastructure and work outside the agreed building specification should not be assumed to form part of the indicative price. The P600 configurator can be used to review the modular format and project requirements.

Lead time, delivery and siting

Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 buildings, with delivery and installation available across the UK. A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, although the programme is confirmed for each order and may depend on the agreed specification, site readiness and delivery arrangements.

Before installation, the site must be assessed for suitable groundworks, delivery access, unloading and the intended module position. Provision must also be made for the services required by the WC and shower. Ground conditions, access restrictions, drainage routes and utility connections are site-specific and are therefore reviewed and priced separately.
