Single-Module Gym with WC, Shower and Terrace

A compact, self-contained training space

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a compact modular gym for the Sport & Leisure sector. The building has a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint and provides approximately 11 m² of internal floor area across a single storey. It is suited to a home gym or a small personal-training studio where a dedicated exercise space, washing facilities and strong natural light are priorities.

The single-module format keeps the building straightforward to position while providing a defined space away from the main house or existing commercial premises. A covered ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building, creating a practical external area at the entrance and additional sheltered space immediately beside the gym.

Module layout and glazing

The ground-floor module contains the complete gym layout, including the specified WC and shower. These facilities make the building suitable for regular private workouts or appointment-based personal training without relying on amenities in another building. The remaining internal area can be arranged around the purchaser’s chosen exercise equipment, subject to the dimensions and safe operating clearances of that equipment.

The north-facing 5.9m wall has three windows: one large central window with a small window on either side. The east 2.2m end wall has one large window, while the west 2.2m end wall has a further large window. This creates glazing on both ends of the module as well as along its long elevations.

On the south-facing 5.9m wall, a single glazed door is positioned between two large windows. This elevation provides the main entrance and a broad visual connection between the gym and the adjoining terrace. The quantity and placement of the windows are fixed to this configuration: three on the north wall, one at each end and two on the south wall beside the glazed entrance door.

Exterior finish and roof

The exterior is finished in vertical Anthracite cladding, giving the module a restrained, contemporary appearance that works well in residential gardens and smaller studio settings. Above it, the flat roof is completed with a slim fascia to maintain the building’s clean, low-profile form. Adacon designs, manufactures, delivers and installs P600 buildings across the UK.

Price and standard specification

The indicative price is £12,550 excluding VAT, or £15,060 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This configuration comprises one P600 module, the stated external finish, flat roof, listed door and window arrangement, and an internal fit-out including a WC and shower. The final quotation will confirm the precise scope of the covered timber terrace and any project-specific requirements.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative price and are quoted separately. Gym equipment, loose furniture and any additions beyond the standard fitted specification should also be confirmed separately. Lead time and site preparation

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification, order confirmation and current production scheduling. The site must provide suitable delivery and installation access, together with an appropriately prepared, level base. Ground conditions and foundation requirements need to be assessed for the specific location.

Connections required for the WC and shower, including water and drainage, must be planned before installation. Other required services, access constraints and local planning or building-control requirements should also be established at an early stage. Delivery, base preparation, service connections and other site works are priced according to the individual property or premises.
