Single-storey classroom configuration
This P600 building uses nine steel-framed modules linked in a single-storey grid. The resulting footprint is 17.7m x 6.6m, with approximately 103m² of internal usable floor area. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external height of 2.40m, an internal ceiling height of 2.16m and an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m.
The configuration is intended as a modular classroom for the education sector, particularly primary and secondary schools expanding capacity. The final internal arrangement, including the requested WC, is confirmed through the quotation and layout process.
Windows and entrance
The exposed perimeter walls have 18 large windows in total. Module 1 has two large windows and a glazed double door on its north wall, plus one large window on its west end. Module 2 has two north-facing large windows. Module 3 has two on its north wall and one on its east end.
Module 4 has one large window on its west end, while Module 5 has no exposed external wall. Module 6 has one large window on its east end. Module 7 has two large windows on its south wall and one on its west end. Module 8 has two south-facing large windows. Module 9 has two large windows on its south wall and one on its east end.
External finish and roof
Smooth plank cladding in Tik (Teak), reference AR16016, is applied between the frame on the selected exposed walls. These are the north walls of Modules 1, 2 and 3; the west walls of Modules 1, 4 and 7; the east walls of Modules 3, 6 and 9; and the south walls of Modules 7, 8 and 9. The building is completed with a dual-pitch apex roof. Final fixture and finish details are confirmed by quotation.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC is requested for this configuration, with its position and final arrangement to be confirmed in the completed layout. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. No shower room is specified in this stored configuration.
Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panels. Plasterboard and alternative hygienic-panel styles are selectable upgrades or choices rather than included features of this configuration. Room-by-room flooring selections also remain to be agreed and should not be assumed from illustrations.
Price and site requirements
The indicative configured estimate is £132,300 excluding VAT, or £158,760 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the site postcode and access conditions. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
