Seven-module grid configuration
This single-storey P600 configuration is intended for modular classrooms in the Education sector. Its seven steel-framed modules form a grid layout with an external footprint of 17.7m x 6.6m. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m and is 2.40m high externally, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m.
Each module has an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. Across the complete configuration, the conservative allowance is approximately 79.8 m² of usable internal area before partitions. Connected open layouts may provide more space, but the final usable area will depend on the confirmed internal room arrangement, kitchenette and WC.
Windows and entrance
The exposed elevations have a defined arrangement of large and full-size windows. Module 1 has two large windows and a single glazed door on its north side, plus a full-size window on its west end. Modules 2 and 3 each have two large windows on their north sides, with Module 3 also having a full-size east-end window.
Module 4 has a full-size window on its west end. Module 5 has two large windows on its south side. Module 6 has two large south-side windows and a full-size east-end window. Module 7 has two large windows on its south side, together with full-size windows on both its east and west ends.
Anthracite external finish
Selected exposed walls are finished with Anthracite ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding, applied vertically between the frame. This full-wall cladding is specified on the north and west walls of Module 1; the north walls of Modules 2 and 3; the east wall of Module 3; the west wall of Module 4; the south wall of Module 5; the east and south walls of Module 6; and the east, south and west walls of Module 7.
The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia and no additional fascia. External finish details remain subject to the final quotation and confirmed project specification.
Requested internal fit-out
A kitchenette and WC are requested for this configuration, with their positions and surrounding partitions to be confirmed in the final layout. Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Other finishes can be selected to suit the final teaching, circulation and ancillary spaces, with project-specific configuration details confirmed by quotation.
Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. Plaster can be applied outside bathroom walls when selected. If a shower room is added to the final specification, wet-room PVC flooring is used within that room. No shower room is currently confirmed in this stored configuration.
Quotation and site requirements
The indicative configured estimate is £93,900 excluding VAT, or £112,680 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the site postcode and access conditions. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Placement and site requirements are subject to survey. Access, ground conditions, service connections and the space needed for transport and offloading must be assessed for the individual school site before the project scope and quotation are finalised.
