4-Module Toilet and Shower Block

A practical four-module washroom building

This configuration combines four P600 modules in a two-by-two grid, creating an 11.8m x 4.4m footprint and approximately 46m² of internal floor area. It is a single-storey toilet and shower block intended for the Construction sector, with a WC and shower included in the internal fit-out. Typical buyers include large construction sites, holiday parks and campsites that need more capacity than a single portable cabin can provide.

Each steel-framed P600 module measures 5.9m x 2.2m. The four modules are linked to form one wider building, giving a practical rectangular plan without adding a second storey. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK.

Module-by-module external layout

Module 1 forms the north-west part of the grid. Its exposed north elevation has a glazed double door positioned between two small windows, creating the main entrance and bringing natural light into the front of the building. The exposed west end has one high-level, top-only window.

Module 2 sits at the north-east. Its exposed north elevation has two high-level, top-only windows, while the east end has a further high-level window. Together with Module 1, it forms the full 11.8m north elevation.

Module 3 forms the south-west part of the building. Two high-level, top-only windows are fitted along its exposed south elevation, with another high-level window on the west end. Module 4 completes the south-east corner, with two high-level windows on the south elevation and one on the east end.

Across the complete building, the arrangement provides one glazed double entrance door, two small front windows and ten high-level windows. The high-level openings are well suited to a washroom use, allowing daylight into the building while limiting direct views through the exposed elevations.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in horizontal Light grey cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and consistent across the four joined modules. Internally, the standard fitted specification includes WC and shower facilities. The detailed sanitary layout, service positions and any project-specific finishes should be confirmed before manufacture.

The indicative price is £43,000 excluding VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described. This price covers the four-module building and its standard fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately because access, travel, lifting arrangements, foundations and service requirements vary by location.

Programme and site preparation

Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks from order and approval of the final specification. The confirmed programme depends on production capacity, design sign-off and the requirements of the individual site. Changes to the standard configuration may also affect cost and timing.

The site requires a suitable prepared and level base, adequate delivery and lifting access, and connections for the WC and shower services. Water supply, drainage, electrical provision and any required external works must be planned for the location. Planning permission and Building Regulations requirements should be checked with the relevant authorities. Delivery routes and crane or lifting access are reviewed as part of the site-specific quotation.
