    Practical construction site accommodation

    This P600 configuration is designed as a substantial site office for main contractors and site managers. Four steel-framed modules are linked in a wide, single-storey arrangement, providing an approximately 46 m2 internal floor area within a 5.9m x 8.8m footprint. It gives construction teams a defined working environment with office space, a kitchenette and a WC in one fitted building.

    Four-module wide layout

    Each P600 module measures 5.9m x 2.2m. In this configuration, the four modules are positioned side by side to form the 8.8m-wide building. The modules are connected internally, while the specified external walls carry the following door and window arrangement:

    • Module 1 forms the north side of the building. Its 5.9m north wall has a single glazed entrance door positioned between two small windows. Its east and west end walls each have one large window.
    • Module 2 sits alongside Module 1. Its exposed east and west end walls each have one large window.
    • Module 3 continues the wide arrangement. As with Module 2, its east and west end walls each have one large window.
    • Module 4 forms the south side of the building. Its east and west end walls each have one large window, while its 5.9m south wall has three small windows.

    Across the complete building, the specification provides eight large end windows, five small side windows and one glazed external door. This distributes natural light around the perimeter while keeping a single, clearly defined entrance on the north elevation.

    External finish and internal fit-out

    The exterior is finished in Dark grey horizontal cladding, with a flat roof and slim fascia. The restrained finish is well suited to an active construction environment and gives the office a consistent appearance across all four linked modules.

    The standard fitted specification includes a kitchenette and WC, allowing the building to support day-to-day site management without requiring separate office and basic amenity units. The approximately 46 m2 internal area provides a useful footprint for desks, meetings, document control and routine site administration, subject to the final furniture and internal arrangement selected by the buyer.

    The indicative price is £43,000 ex VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building with the stated Dark grey external finish, door and window arrangement, kitchenette and WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately following review of the destination and installation requirements.

    Preparing the site

    The building requires a level, correctly prepared base suitable for the modules and local ground conditions. The site must also provide suitable access for delivery vehicles and lifting operations, sufficient working space for installation, and planned routes for required service connections. Groundworks, utility connections and other site-specific requirements should be established before delivery.
