    Four-module run layout

This modular classroom uses four steel-framed P600 modules connected in a single-storey run. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating an overall external footprint of 23.6m x 2.2m. The configuration provides approximately 45.6 m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance. Connected open layouts may provide more space, subject to the final room arrangement.

Each module is 2.40m high externally, with a 2.16m internal ceiling height and an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The linear arrangement is suited to an extended teaching room or a partitioned education layout, with the precise internal division confirmed during quotation. Further information about this type of building is available on the modular classrooms page.

    Windows and external access

All four modules have two large windows on their exposed north wall and two large windows on their exposed south wall. Module 1 also has a single glazed door on its south wall, positioned between the two large windows, together with a large window in the exposed west end wall. At the opposite end of the run, Module 4 has a large window in its exposed east wall.

This stored arrangement gives the classroom windows along both long elevations, with additional glazing at each exposed end. Opening dimensions, frame details and final fixture selections are confirmed by quotation rather than assumed from illustrative material.

Teak external finish and flat roof

The exposed walls are specified with Teak ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding applied between the frame. The boards run vertically across the north, south, west and east walls where those faces are exposed in this four-module design. Internal connecting faces between the modules are not external elevations.

The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is selected. Cladding and other configuration costs are incorporated into the quotation and are not publicly itemised.

    Requested kitchenette and WC

A kitchenette and WC have been requested for this classroom, with their positions and effect on the teaching space to be confirmed in the final layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, while hygienic panels are available as an optional selection. Wet-room PVC flooring applies to shower rooms; no shower room is specified in this stored configuration.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included wall finish. Plaster can be applied outside bathroom walls when selected, and any alternative wall or floor finishes depend on the final room layout and quotation. Illustrated furniture, fixtures and finishes should not be treated as guaranteed inclusions.

    Price and site considerations

The indicative configured estimate is £55,200 excluding VAT, or £66,240 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Siting remains subject to a site survey covering access, positioning and relevant site conditions. The final classroom arrangement, kitchenette, WC, finishes and project-specific requirements can be recorded through the building configurator before a detailed quotation is prepared.
