4-Module Single-Storey Modular Classroom

A linear four-module classroom

Designed as a modular classroom for the Education sector, this configuration places four P600 modules in a single-storey run. The resulting footprint is 23.6m x 2.2m, with approximately 46 m² of usable internal floor area. Its long, narrow arrangement is suited to primary and secondary schools expanding teaching capacity where the available site supports a linear building.

Each steel-framed P600 module measures 5.9m x 2.2m. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m x 2.0m, while the external height is 2.40m and the internal ceiling height is 2.16m. Together, the four modules form the stored classroom configuration rather than separate standalone rooms.

Windows and entrance

Module 1 has two Large windows on its north wall. Its south wall contains a Large window, a glazed double door and a second Large window, creating the entrance elevation. A Full-size window is positioned in the exposed west end wall.

Modules 2 and 3 each have two Large windows on the north wall and two Large windows on the south wall. Module 4 repeats this arrangement, with two Large windows to both its north and south walls, and adds a Full-size window in the exposed east end wall. The final internal relationship between teaching, kitchenette and WC areas is confirmed through the quoted layout.

Selected external treatment

The included exterior uses vertical insulated sandwich panels in Pure White, RAL 9010. All selected exposed north and south walls use smooth Standard insulated panels in this colour. The exposed west wall of Module 1 and east wall of Module 4 use the same selected panel type, colour and smooth finish. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not itemised in public pricing.

A dual-pitch apex roof completes the stored external configuration. Final fixture and finish details are confirmed by quotation, so illustrated items should not be treated as guaranteed unless they are recorded in the final specification.

Requested internal fit-out

A kitchenette and WC have been requested, with their positions and final arrangement to be confirmed in the completed layout. Toilet rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. The precise hygienic-panel style and associated room details must therefore be agreed as part of the quotation.

Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard, other hygienic-panel styles and room-by-room flooring selections are available as choices or upgrades rather than included features of this stored design. These details can be reviewed when the project is taken through the configuration process.

Price and site requirements

The indicative configured estimate is £58,200 excluding VAT, or £69,840 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and any other site-specific works are also separate from the configured estimate.

Siting remains subject to survey. Access, available working space, ground conditions and the requirements of the chosen position must be assessed before the final quotation and site arrangements are confirmed. Any works needed to prepare the school site are determined for the individual project and are not assumed within the stated building estimate.
