Four-module run layout

This configuration uses four 5.9m x 2.2m P600 modules linked end to end in a single-storey run. The completed building has a 23.6m x 2.2m footprint and provides approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. It is designed as a secure storage unit for the construction sector, giving contractors, tradespeople and businesses a long, open storage space with direct access from both sides.

The run layout is useful where materials, tools or equipment need to be separated by access point without dividing the interior into fixed rooms. With 15 full-size roller shutters across the four modules, users can reach different sections of the building without moving everything through one entrance.

Module-by-module access

Module 1: The north-facing 5.9m wall has two full-size roller shutters. The south-facing wall has one full-size roller shutter and a double-leaf glazed door set for pedestrian access. A top-only high-level window is fitted in the exposed west end wall.
Module 2: Two full-size roller shutters are fitted to the north-facing wall, with a further two full-size roller shutters on the south-facing wall.
Module 3: This module follows the same arrangement, with two full-size roller shutters on the north side and two on the south side.
Module 4: The north-facing wall has two full-size roller shutters, while the south-facing wall has another two. A top-only high-level window is positioned in the exposed east end wall.

The two high-level end windows introduce daylight while retaining usable wall space lower down. The glazed double-leaf entrance in Module 1 provides a separate pedestrian route, avoiding the need to open a roller shutter for routine entry.

External finish and internal specification

The exterior is finished in Dark grey horizontal cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and suited to construction compounds, trade premises and commercial storage yards. The building is supplied as an open internal space, with no wet fit-out and no internal WC, kitchen or washing facilities included in this configuration.

Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK. The steel-framed modules are joined on site to form one continuous single-storey building. Buyers can review the modular format through the P600 configurator.

Price, programme and site preparation

The indicative price is £43,000 ex VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building with its stated cladding, roof form, roller shutters, glazed door set, high-level windows and open internal arrangement. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme will depend on design confirmation, production scheduling and site readiness. Before installation, the site will need suitable prepared foundations or support points, sufficient access for delivery vehicles and space for unloading and positioning the modules. Ground conditions, levels, drainage constraints and any required service connections should be established before delivery, with project-specific requirements confirmed during the site assessment and quotation process.
