A practical four-module toilet block

This configuration combines four P600 steel-framed modules in a wide, single-storey layout. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating an overall footprint of 5.9m x 8.8m and approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. Module-by-module layout

Module 1 contains the main entrance elevation. Its exposed north-facing 5.9m side has a single glazed door positioned between two small windows. This arrangement provides a clearly identifiable entrance with natural light on either side. The east and west 2.2m ends each have one top-only high-level window.

Module 2 continues the wide linked layout. Its scheduled east and west 2.2m end elevations each include one top-only high-level window. There are no additional doors or full-height glazed openings specified for this module.

Module 3 follows the same opening schedule as Module 2, with one top-only high-level window on both the east and west 2.2m ends. The repeated high-level window arrangement supports a consistent appearance across the four-module configuration.

Module 4 completes the building. Its east and west 2.2m ends each have one top-only high-level window. The exposed south-facing 5.9m side has two further top-only high-level windows. These openings provide daylight while limiting direct views into the WC accommodation.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and gives the completed block a clean, restrained profile. The internal fit-out includes WC provision; the final sanitary arrangement and any site-dependent service details are confirmed as part of the project specification.

Price, programme and site preparation

The indicative price is £43,000 excluding VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building with the stated external finish, door and window schedule, roof treatment and WC fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately because access, foundations, service requirements and installation conditions vary by location.

Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks from an agreed specification and order, subject to production capacity and project requirements. Before delivery, the site will need suitable prepared foundations or a level base designed for the building and local ground conditions. Adequate vehicle and lifting access must also be available, together with planned routes and connection points for the services required by the WC installation.
