4-Module P600 Modular Classroom

A four-module education layout

Formed from four steel-framed P600 modules, this single-storey configuration creates an external footprint of 11.8m x 4.4m. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The four modules are connected in a grid arrangement to provide approximately 45.6 m2 of usable internal area before partitions.

The stated internal area uses a conservative per-module allowance based on an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m per module. A connected open layout may provide more usable space, but the final arrangement depends on the confirmed partitions, kitchenette and WC. Windows and entrance arrangement

Module 1 has two large windows and one single glazed door along its exposed north wall, plus one large window in the west end wall. Module 2 has two large windows along the north wall and one large window in the east end wall. Together, these openings serve the north-facing side of the grid and its exposed ends.

Module 3 has two large windows in its exposed south wall and one large window in the west end wall. Module 4 has two large windows along the south wall and one large window in the east end wall. Across the complete configuration, the stored design therefore includes twelve large windows and one single glazed external door.

Selected exterior and roof

The exposed outside walls use the included vertical insulated sandwich panels in Cream, RAL 9001, with a smooth finish. These selected panels cover the north and west walls of Module 1, the north and east walls of Module 2, the south and west walls of Module 3, and the east and south walls of Module 4.

A dual-pitch apex roof completes the selected exterior. Cladding costs are confirmed within the project quotation and are not itemised publicly. Final colours, fixtures and finish details remain subject to the issued quotation.

Requested internal fit-out

The requested fit-out includes a kitchenette and WC, with their exact positions and partition layout to be confirmed in the final design. Around bathroom areas, 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels are the standard wall treatment, while hygienic panels are optional. Plaster applies outside bathroom walls where that finish is selected.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative finishes are selected to suit the final room layout. Wet-room PVC flooring applies to shower rooms, although no shower is specified in this stored configuration. The arrangement can be reviewed in the P600 configurator, with final fit-out details confirmed by quotation.

Estimate and site considerations

The indicative configured estimate is £58,200 ex VAT, or £69,840 including VAT, subject to quotation. This estimate relates to the stated four-module classroom configuration and requested fit-out.
