This three-module P600 building is configured as a secure storage unit for contractors, tradespeople and businesses that need dedicated lock-up space. Its open interior provides approximately 37 m² of usable floor area, without a wet fit-out or internal rooms taking up storage capacity. The wide, single-storey arrangement also keeps stock, tools, materials and equipment on one accessible level.

The building is particularly suited to the construction sector, where secure storage may be needed on an active site, at a contractor’s yard or alongside existing commercial premises. The roller shutter provides a practical loading point, while the separate glazed double door allows straightforward day-to-day personnel access.

Three-module wide layout

Three steel-framed P600 modules are linked side by side to create a 5.9 m by 6.6 m footprint. Each module measures 5.9 m by 2.2 m, producing a broad rectangular building with an open internal layout. There is no WC, sink, kitchenette or other wet fit-out in this configuration.

• Module 1 forms one outer side of the building and contains the principal access points.
• Module 2 occupies the centre of the layout and contributes uninterrupted internal storage space.
• Module 3 forms the opposite outer side and adds further high-level natural light.

Access and window arrangement

On Module 1, the exposed north-facing 5.9 m wall has a full-size roller shutter and a glazed double door. This combination separates larger loading movements from routine pedestrian access. The exposed east and west 2.2 m end walls each have one top-only high-level window.

Module 2 has no opening on a long external wall because it sits centrally within the three-module arrangement. Its exposed east and west end walls each contain one top-only high-level window, maintaining daylight at both ends of the central module.

Module 3 has one top-only high-level window on each exposed 2.2 m end wall. Its exposed south-facing 5.9 m wall has two further top-only high-level windows. Across the complete building, eight high-level windows bring light into the open storage area while leaving more of the lower wall space available for storage planning.

External finish and internal specification

The exterior is finished in Black horizontal cladding, giving the building a consistent, businesslike appearance. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and compact. The modules are supplied to the standard fitted specification for this configuration, linked into one open-plan secure storage unit with no wet facilities.

The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT. This covers the three-module building in the standard fitted specification described here. Lead time and siting requirements

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification, order confirmation and programme availability. Before installation, the site requires suitable prepared groundworks and clear access for delivery and installation. The precise foundation, access and lifting requirements depend on the location, ground conditions and surrounding constraints, so these elements are assessed and priced for the individual site.
