A linear office for construction sites

This P600 configuration combines three 5.9m x 2.2m modules in a straight, single-storey run. Together they create a 17.7m x 2.2m footprint and approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. The narrow linear format is suited to construction sites where office accommodation needs to sit alongside site roads, compounds or boundary lines without the complexity of a two-storey installation.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the western end of the run. Its exposed north wall has three small windows, while the south wall has a small window, a single glazed entrance door and a second small window. The exposed west end adds two further small windows. This is the only external door specified for the configuration.

Module 2 sits in the centre, linked between the two end modules. It has three small windows along the exposed north wall and three along the exposed south wall. As an internal module within the run, it has no exposed end wall in this arrangement.

Module 3 forms the eastern end. Three small windows are positioned along the north wall and another three along the south wall. Its exposed east end contains two additional small windows. Across the complete building, the specified elevations therefore include 21 small windows and one single glazed door.

Internal fit-out

The fitted interior includes a kitchenette and WC, supporting everyday use by a site management team without requiring separate welfare or refreshment space within the office. Their final internal positioning should be confirmed as part of the specification process, together with the required working areas and circulation between the three linked modules.

Exterior finish

The building is finished externally in horizontal Anthracite cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and consistent across the full 17.7m run. The regular small-window arrangement provides openings on both long elevations, with additional windows at the exposed west and east ends.

Price and typical lead time

The indicative price is £32,250 ex VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described. This price covers the three-module building with its stated external finish, window and door arrangement, kitchenette and WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately following review of the location and requirements.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. Programme dates depend on specification sign-off, current production capacity, site readiness and delivery arrangements, so the required installation date should be established before an order is placed.

Preparing the site

The installation area must provide a suitable level base for the full 17.7m x 2.2m footprint, with support and groundworks appropriate to the site conditions. Delivery vehicle access, unloading space and any lifting requirements must be assessed in advance. The route to the final position also needs sufficient clearance for the individual modules.

Connections for the kitchenette and WC must be planned around the available site services. Any required drainage, water, power, external service runs, permissions or other site-specific works should be identified before delivery, as these items sit outside the indicative building price.
