Configured for additional teaching capacity
This modular classroom uses three P600 steel-framed modules arranged across three positions of a two-by-two grid, creating an L-shaped single-storey plan. The overall external footprint is 11.8m x 4.4m. Based on a conservative allowance of approximately 5.7m x 2.0m usable interior per module, it provides approximately 34.2m² of usable internal area before partitions. A connected open layout may provide more usable space.
Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The joined arrangement is intended to create a practical teaching environment while retaining defined positions for the requested kitchenette and WC. Their sizes, locations and relationship to the teaching area remain subject to confirmation in the final room layout.
Windows and entrance arrangement
Module 1 has a large window, a single glazed door and a second large window along its exposed north wall. Its exposed west end has one large window. Module 2 has two large windows on the north wall, one large window at the east end and two large windows on the south wall. Module 3 has one large window at each exposed east and west end, plus two large windows along its south wall.
These openings are specific to the stored configuration and provide glazing across each exposed side of the three-module arrangement. Final positioning and the internal relationship between the openings, partitions, kitchenette and WC are confirmed through the quoted layout.
Selected external treatment
The exposed outer walls are finished between the frame with Teak ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding. Vertical boards are selected for the north and west walls of Module 1; the north, east and south walls of Module 2; and the east, south and west walls of Module 3. Cladding is priced as part of the final quotation and is not itemised publicly.
The configuration has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is selected. The restrained roofline and vertically aligned Teak-toned cladding give the classroom a consistent external treatment across its exposed elevations.
Internal wall and room finishes
Insulated sandwich panels are the included wall finish outside the requested bathroom-related fit-out. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an optional selection. Where plaster is selected, it applies outside bathroom walls. Other finishes are chosen to suit the confirmed room layout.
If a shower room is added to the final scheme, wet-room PVC flooring is used within that room. A shower is not specified in this stored classroom configuration. Precise finishes, fixtures and the final kitchenette and WC details are therefore confirmed by quotation rather than inferred from illustrations.
School use, pricing and siting
This configuration is intended for the Education sector, particularly primary and secondary schools expanding capacity. Further information about this application is available under modular classrooms. The stored design can also be reviewed through the P600 configurator.
The indicative configured estimate is £41,100 excluding VAT, or £49,320 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are separate. Siting and the suitability of the proposed location remain subject to survey, access assessment and confirmation of the final layout.
