3-Module Modular Shower Block with WC

A practical three-module washroom layout

This configuration uses three P600 steel-framed modules linked in a straight run to create a single-storey building measuring 17.7m long by 2.2m wide. The combined internal floor area is approximately 34 m². Designed for the Construction sector, it provides a defined modular shower block format with WC and shower facilities. The long, narrow footprint works well where site width is limited, while the linked interior provides more usable space than an individual module.

Module-by-module configuration

Module 1 forms the western end of the run. Its north-facing 5.9m wall has two high-level, top-only windows. The south-facing wall contains a small window, a pair of glazed doors and a second small window. This glazed double-door arrangement provides the building’s external entrance. A further high-level, top-only window is fitted in the exposed 2.2m western end wall.

Module 2 sits in the centre and connects Module 1 to Module 3. Its exposed north wall has two high-level, top-only windows, with another two high-level, top-only windows on the south wall. As the central module, both 2.2m end walls connect directly to the adjoining modules rather than forming part of the exterior.

Module 3 completes the eastern end of the building. Two high-level, top-only windows are fitted to its north wall and two more to its south wall. The exposed 2.2m eastern end has one additional high-level, top-only window. Across the configuration, these high-level openings provide daylight while retaining greater privacy than conventional low-level windows.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding, giving the complete three-module run a consistent appearance. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and unobtrusive. Internally, the fitted specification includes a WC and shower, making the building suitable for workforce washing facilities and other shared-use settings such as campsites and sports clubs.

The P600 system is designed, manufactured and delivered by Adacon, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK. Price and typical lead time

The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This price covers the three-module building with its stated exterior finish, door and window arrangement, WC and shower fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately because access, location, service requirements and ground conditions vary between projects.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme is confirmed when the specification, site information and delivery arrangements have been reviewed. Changes to the configuration or fit-out may affect both price and lead time.

Preparing the site

The building requires a suitable prepared, level siting area for its 17.7m by 2.2m footprint. Delivery access must allow the three modules to reach the installation position and be placed safely. Water supply, drainage and any required electrical services must also be planned for the WC and shower. Groundworks, service connections and other site-dependent requirements are assessed and priced separately.
