Three-module classroom layout

This P600 configuration uses three steel-framed modules arranged over one storey in an L-shaped plan. The overall footprint is 11.8m x 8.1m, with approximately 34m² of usable internal floor area. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high externally, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m x 2.0m.

The linked layout is intended as a modular classroom for the Education sector. It is suited to primary and secondary schools expanding capacity while retaining a single-storey arrangement. The L-shaped footprint creates two connected wings, with the final internal room arrangement and circulation confirmed during quotation.

Windows and entrance

Module 1 forms the main glazed entrance elevation. Its exposed north-facing 5.9m wall has a large window, a glazed double door and a second large window. A further large window is positioned in the exposed west-facing 2.2m end wall.

Module 2 has three small windows on its exposed north-facing 5.9m wall and three small windows on its exposed south-facing 5.9m wall. Its east-facing 2.2m end wall contains one large window. Module 3 has three small windows along the exposed east-facing 5.9m wall and another three along the exposed west-facing 5.9m wall. Its south-facing 2.2m end wall has one large window.

External finish and roof

The selected exposed outside walls use smooth, vertical insulated sandwich panels in Light Grey, RAL 7035. This finish applies to Module 1’s north and west walls; Module 2’s north, east and south walls; and Module 3’s east, south and west walls. The public estimate does not separately itemise cladding costs, which remain quote-only.

The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified in this stored configuration.

Requested WC and internal finishes

A WC has been requested, with its position and final fit-out to be confirmed in the completed layout and quotation. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. These wet-area requirements should not be taken as confirmation of a particular hygienic-panel style, sanitary layout or fixture selection before the quotation is agreed.

Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard, alternative hygienic-panel styles and room-by-room flooring specifications are selectable choices or upgrades rather than included features of this configuration. Illustrated fixtures, finishes and details are also subject to final confirmation by quotation.

Estimate and site considerations

The indicative configured estimate is £38,700 excluding VAT, or £46,440 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are separate from this estimate.

Positioning and access remain subject to a site survey, including assessment of the intended location, vehicle access, offloading requirements and necessary ground preparation. The stored design can be reviewed through the building configurator, but final dimensions, fit-out details, finishes and site requirements are established in the project quotation.
