A wide layout for salon planning

This configuration places three P600 steel-framed modules together in a wide, single-storey arrangement. The completed external footprint is 5.9m x 6.6m, providing approximately 34.2 m² of usable internal area before partitions. This is based on a conservative per-module allowance; a connected open layout may provide more space, depending on the final arrangement.

Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high, with a 2.16m internal ceiling. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m x 2.0m. Together, they create a practical starting point for treatment areas, reception, storage and staff facilities, with the final room divisions confirmed during quotation. See further planning considerations for beauty salons.

    Windows, entrance and natural light

The exposed north wall of Module 1 contains a large window, a double-door glazed entrance and a second large window. Its east and west end walls each have a full-size window. Module 2 also has a full-size window in each exposed end wall, helping to bring light into the centre of the connected layout.

Module 3 has full-size windows on its east and west ends. Its exposed south wall contains two large windows. The stored design therefore distributes glazing across the outer walls of all three modules without fixing the internal positions of treatment rooms or reception areas.

    Anthracite slatted exterior

All selected exposed walls are finished with Anthracite ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding applied between the frame. The boards run vertically. This treatment covers the exposed north, east and west walls of Module 1; the east and west walls of Module 2; and the east, south and west walls of Module 3, including the areas around the specified openings.

The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia and no additional fascia. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not itemised publicly. Final finishes, junctions and other visual details are confirmed in the project quotation.

    Requested salon facilities and finishes

A kitchenette and WC are requested for this configuration, with their positions and the resulting room layout to be confirmed. Insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish elsewhere in the building. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, while hygienic panels are available as an option. Where plaster is selected, it applies outside bathroom walls.

If a shower room is added to the final plan, wet-room PVC flooring is used within that room. No shower is specified in the stored configuration. Other wall and floor finishes remain selections for the final room layout rather than fixed features of this design. The layout can be reviewed through the building configurator.

    Price, transport and site preparation

The indicative configured estimate is £40,700 excluding VAT, or £48,840 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the destination postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Positioning and site requirements are subject to survey. Access, levels, foundations, service connections and the method of offloading must be assessed for the intended location before the project details are confirmed.
