Permanent WC provision for busy sites

This configuration is a two-module modular toilet block designed for permanent WC provision in the construction sector. It is also suitable for event sites and sports grounds where temporary facilities are no longer adequate. The building is single storey, with the two P600 modules positioned side by side to form a wide 5.9m x 4.4m footprint and approximately 23 m² of internal floor area.

Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK. Each module uses a steel frame and measures 5.9m x 2.2m. Linking two modules across their long sides creates a broad internal space while retaining a straightforward modular form for transport and installation.

Wide two-module arrangement

The joined layout creates one rectangular building rather than two separate rooms. The final internal arrangement incorporates the specified WC fit-out, with the exact fixture layout and service positions confirmed as part of the project specification. The glazed entrance is located on the north elevation of Module 1, providing the external access point for the building.

Module 1 openings

Module 1 forms one half of the ground floor. Its exposed north-facing 5.9m wall has a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window, arranged in that order. This gives the entrance elevation a balanced appearance and introduces glazing on either side of the door. The exposed east and west 2.2m end walls each have one top-only high-level window.

Module 2 openings

Module 2 completes the wide layout. Its exposed south-facing 5.9m wall has one top-only high-level window. The east and west 2.2m end walls also each contain one top-only high-level window. Together with the openings in Module 1, this provides high-level glazing on both end elevations and along the rear-facing side of the building.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in Dark grey horizontal cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and consistent across both linked modules. The standard fitted specification includes the WC fit-out stated for this configuration, but does not assume any additional rooms, fixtures or facilities beyond the agreed project schedule.

Price and typical lead time

The indicative price is £21,500 excluding VAT, or £25,800 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This covers the configured two-module building with its stated external finish, door and window arrangement, flat roof and WC fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately, allowing costs to reflect the location, access conditions and preparation already completed.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme depends on final specification approval, production scheduling and the requirements of the site. Delivery and installation dates are agreed once the building details and site arrangements have been checked.

Siting requirements

The site must provide a suitable prepared, level base for the 5.9m x 4.4m building, together with clear access for delivery and installation. The required groundworks depend on local ground conditions and are not included in the indicative price. Connections for drainage and any other required services must also be planned around the final WC layout. Planning, regulatory requirements, access restrictions and other site-specific matters should be established before manufacture and reflected in the project quotation.
