Building a Room Inside a Warehouse: Your Options
If you need a meeting room, training room, reception or other enclosed space inside an industrial building, there are two main routes: build it in place with partitions, or bring in a room manufactured off-site. Both can be right — it depends on your building, access and plans.
Internal rooms we manufacture
- Meeting rooms
- Training rooms
- Reception rooms
- Security rooms
- Quality and inspection rooms
- Bespoke internal rooms
Conventional partition construction
- Built in place, so not limited by door or shutter sizes
- Can use existing warehouse walls
- Trades, materials and dust on your operational floor for longer
- Usually becomes part of the building and is hard to move
Off-site manufactured modular room
- Manufactured off-site with substantial internal finishing done
- Shorter on-site period: mainly positioning and connection
- Self-contained walls, roof and floor
- Can be repositioned or taken with you, subject to access
- Size must suit the access route, or be split into joined modules
Cost considerations
Which route costs less depends on the room size, specification, access and how much disruption you can accept. We price each modular room to your specification so you can compare it fairly with a partition quote.
Final electrical, water and drainage connections are arranged separately unless they are expressly included in your approved quotation.
