What does a site welfare unit cost?
A modular site welfare unit costs £10,750 + VAT per module. A canteen and WC for a small crew is one to two modules at £10,750–£21,500 + VAT, and a welfare facility for around 50 operatives with showers, drying room and multiple WCs is typically six modules at £64,500 + VAT.
Welfare is a compliance requirement, not a nice-to-have, and the constraint is usually the site's water and electrical capacity rather than the building. Size the facility to your peak headcount and tell us your available supply at design stage.
