Designed around the host building

Where the host building provides part of the required enclosure, Adacon can consider a module designed specifically for integration into that structure rather than supplying unnecessary external building elements. The appropriate construction depends on the structural, fire, acoustic, waterproofing and regulatory requirements of the individual project.

How does the washroom get inside the building?

This is considered during design rather than after the module has been manufactured.

Where suitable access exists, a prefabricated washroom may potentially be transported through a large commercial or industrial building and mechanically positioned close to its final location. Depending on the individual project this could involve a forklift, telehandler, crane or another appropriate handling method.

That makes prefabricated washrooms particularly interesting for warehouses, factories, sports centres and other buildings with good industrial access — a roller-shutter opening, a clear internal route and a known final space are often enough for us to start assessing a solution.
