Single-Module Secure Storage Unit with Roller Shutters

Single-module storage layout

This configuration uses one P600 module arranged over a single storey. The module has a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint and provides approximately 12 m² of internal floor area. Inside, the layout is left open to maximise usable storage space, with no partitions or wet fit-out. It is a straightforward secure storage unit for tools, equipment, materials and other business items that need to be kept together in a dedicated lock-up.

Roller shutter access and glazing

The north-facing 5.9m wall contains two full-size roller shutters, giving separate access points along the long side of the module. The south-facing 5.9m wall has a third full-size roller shutter alongside a single glazed entrance door and a small window. This combination allows users to move stored items through the shutters while retaining a separate pedestrian entrance for day-to-day access.

The east and west end walls each contain one top-only window positioned at high level. These windows bring natural light into the open storage area while preserving useful wall space below. The exact arrangement is particularly practical where different tools, materials or work areas need to be reached without unloading the entire unit.

External finish and internal fit-out

The steel-framed module is finished externally in horizontal Light grey cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall appearance clean and compact, making the building suitable for construction compounds, trade yards and commercial sites where a functional permanent or semi-permanent storage building is required.

There is no wet fit-out in this configuration. The interior remains one open space rather than being divided into a WC, kitchen or welfare area. Indicative price and scope

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the single P600 module in the stated configuration, including its Light grey external finish, flat roof, specified roller shutters, glazed door and windows, and open internal arrangement. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately.

Lead time and configuration

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to the final specification, order confirmation and current production schedule. The layout should be checked against the intended storage use, site access and operating requirements before manufacture. Siting requirements

The unit requires a suitable prepared and level base, with adequate access for delivery, lifting and installation. The site must also provide sufficient working space around the module and clear access to all three roller shutters and the glazed pedestrian door. Ground conditions, access restrictions, drainage, boundaries and any required permissions should be established before installation. As this version has no wet fit-out, water and drainage connections are not required for the specified layout; any additional services or site works would need to be assessed and quoted separately.
