Single-Module Secure Storage Unit with 3 Shutters

Compact storage for construction sites and premises

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a self-contained secure storage unit with a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint. The open interior provides approximately 12 m² of floor area, without partitions or a wet fit-out, so the available space can be used efficiently for tools, equipment, materials or stock.

It is intended for contractors, tradespeople and businesses that need dedicated lock-up space within the construction sector. Its single-storey format is suitable for sites where a compact footprint and several loading points are more useful than separate internal rooms.

Single-module layout

The ground-floor module contains one open internal area. There are no toilets, sinks, kitchens or other wet facilities in this configuration. The absence of internal subdivisions leaves the full space available for storage and allows users to organise it around their own shelving, racking or equipment requirements. Any additional internal storage systems would need to be specified separately.

The north-facing 5.9m wall has two full-size roller shutters. These create two separate access points along the long side of the module, making it easier to arrange stored items around the available openings.

The south-facing 5.9m wall has a third full-size roller shutter and a pair of glazed doors. This provides another loading opening alongside a separate personnel entrance. The east and west 2.2m end walls each have one top-only, high-level window, bringing daylight into the open storage area while retaining usable wall space below.

Exterior finish and roof

The exterior is finished in smooth black cladding. This gives the unit a clean, straightforward appearance suited to construction compounds, contractors’ yards and commercial premises.

A flat roof with a slim fascia completes the external profile. The building is supplied as one module, avoiding the internal junctions required in larger linked configurations. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK.

Fit-out and indicative price

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. For this configuration, that covers the single P600 module with its smooth black external finish, flat roof and slim fascia, the three specified full-size roller shutters, the double glazed-door entrance, two high-level windows and the open internal space.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative price and are quoted separately. Requirements that differ from this listed configuration should be reviewed and priced through the P600 configurator.

Lead time, access and siting

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme will depend on the final specification, production schedule, delivery arrangements and the readiness of the site.

The module requires a suitable prepared and level base. Ground conditions, drainage, levels and any required foundations or groundworks must be assessed for the intended location. These works are separate from the stated building price.

There must also be suitable access for delivery and installation, including enough room for the delivery vehicle and lifting operation. Site restrictions, access constraints and any location-specific installation requirements are assessed before delivery and quoted where additional work is needed.
