Single-Module Modular Toilet Block with WC

A compact format for permanent WC provision

This configuration uses one P600 steel-framed module to create a compact modular toilet block for the construction sector. It is a single-storey run layout with a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint and approximately 12 m² of internal floor area. The format suits sites, events and sports grounds that need permanent WC provision without allocating space to a larger building.

The building is intended for buyers who need a defined, orderable product rather than a temporary arrangement. It provides a compact footprint for WC use and can be reviewed alongside Adacon’s wider modular toilet blocks. Because it is one module, the complete internal arrangement is contained at ground-floor level.

The configured module

Module 1 forms the complete ground floor and contains the WC fit-out. Its south-facing 5.9m side is the access elevation, arranged with a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window. These are the configuration’s only small windows and its only external door.

The opposite, north-facing 5.9m wall has two top-only windows at high level. Each 2.2m end wall also has one top-only high-level window: one to the east and one to the west. In total, the module has six windows—two small windows on the south side and four high-level, top-only windows—plus the single glazed door.

Exterior finish and openings

The exterior is finished in horizontal Anthracite cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the roofline restrained and suit the compact proportions of the 5.9m x 2.2m module. The colour, cladding orientation and fascia treatment apply to this exact configuration.

WC fit-out and indicative price

Inside, the specified fit-out includes a WC. No additional rooms or modules are included in this layout, and all internal accommodation is contained within the single module. Final service connection requirements should be coordinated for the site before installation.

The indicative price is £10,750 ex VAT (£12,900 inc VAT) for the standard fitted specification. The figure applies to the one-module building and standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately. This keeps the building price clear while transport, access and local site requirements are assessed against the actual destination.

Lead time and project planning

Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK. Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The working programme should be confirmed against the final specification, delivery location and site readiness, because access or outstanding site information can affect scheduling. Buyers can test this footprint and arrangement in the P600 configurator before requirements are finalised.

Preparing the site

Before delivery, the buyer should provide a level, suitably prepared base and complete any required groundworks. There must also be a practical delivery route, enough clear space for unloading and installation, and agreed positions for any services required by the WC. Ground conditions, access constraints and connection work are site-specific, so they sit outside the indicative building price and must be checked before the delivery date.
