A compact, self-contained salon

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a practical beauty salon for independent therapists and salon owners. The steel-framed module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, providing approximately 12m² of internal floor area on a single storey. Its wide layout makes effective use of the full-length elevation while keeping the overall footprint suitable for constrained commercial, domestic or mixed-use sites.

As a self-contained building, it can provide dedicated treatment or appointment space separate from an existing salon, home or commercial premises. The inclusion of a kitchenette and WC supports day-to-day use without requiring staff or clients to rely on facilities in another building. Module 1 layout

The single ground-floor module contains the salon area, kitchenette and WC. The brief does not prescribe fixed treatment stations or loose furniture, allowing the available salon space to be arranged around the buyer’s services, equipment and preferred working layout.

Natural light enters through six large windows across all four exposed walls. The north-facing 5.9m wall has two large windows. The east 2.2m end has one large window, while the west 2.2m end has a further large window. On the south-facing 5.9m wall, a single glazed entrance door sits with two large windows, creating a well-lit principal elevation and a clear point of access.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in vertical Anthracite cladding, giving the module a clean, consistent appearance. A flat roof with slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and low-profile. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings installed on prepared sites across the UK.

The standard fitted specification for this configuration includes the internal kitchenette and WC. These facilities make the building suitable for use as a compact standalone salon, with space for refreshments, handwashing and staff or client welfare. Price and programme

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included in this figure and are quoted separately. Changes to the listed configuration or specification may affect the final price.

Preparing the site

The module requires a suitable prepared base and clear access for delivery and installation. Ground conditions, levels and access constraints should be assessed before the installation date. The site must also be ready for any required electrical, water and drainage connections serving the salon, kitchenette and WC.

Planning requirements and other site-specific permissions vary by location and intended use, so these should be established by the buyer before work proceeds. Groundworks, service connections, delivery arrangements and other site-dependent items are assessed and priced separately.
