    Purpose and overall arrangement

    This P600 building combines four 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed modules in a single-storey, two-by-two grid. The completed building has an 11.8m x 4.4m footprint and approximately 46 m² of internal floor area. It is configured for main contractors and site managers who need a self-contained workspace with a kitchenette and WC. Further applications are covered in Adacon’s site offices range.

    Module-by-module layout

    Module 1 forms the north-west part of the building. Its exposed 5.9m north wall contains a small window, a single glazed entrance door and a second small window. A large window is positioned in the exposed 2.2m west end wall.

    Module 2 sits on the north-east side. Three small windows are spaced across its exposed north wall, while a large window is fitted within the exposed east end wall.

    Module 3 forms the south-west part of the grid. Its exposed south wall contains three small windows, and its exposed west end wall has one large window.

    Module 4 completes the south-east side. It has three small windows along the exposed south wall and a large window in the exposed east end wall. Across the complete configuration, the building has one glazed external door, eleven small windows and four large end-wall windows.

    External finish

    The exterior is finished in smooth Dark grey cladding, giving the office a clean, restrained appearance suited to a working construction environment. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple. The modules are linked as one building rather than used as separate cabins, creating a unified rectangular footprint.

    Fit-out and indicative price

    The internal fit-out includes a kitchenette and WC, allowing the office to support day-to-day site management without relying entirely on separate facilities.     The indicative price is £51,600 ex VAT, or £61,920 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately, so the final project cost will depend on location, access and site requirements.

    A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme depends on the agreed specification, order timing and project requirements. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 buildings, with delivery and installation coordinated for sites across the UK.

    Siting requirements

    The building requires a suitable, prepared and level base appropriate to its four-module footprint. The site must also provide sufficient access and working space for delivery and installation operations. Connections serving the kitchenette and WC need to be planned around the site’s available utilities and drainage arrangements.

    Ground conditions, service routes and any project-specific constraints should be established before delivery. Groundworks and other site-specific works are not included in the indicative building price and are assessed separately for the individual construction site.
